Shanna suggested and contacted wonderful vendors (music band, florist, cake, local wine and non-alcoholic ciders, transportation.. the list goes on), and using her rentals (dishes, linens, and décor) looked elegant and was really easy.
For the day of the wedding, Shanna drew up a schedule so that we, our families, and even the reception MC knew when everything should happen. Shanna also incorporated some family heirlooms in the décor, and gave us suggestions to ensure all of our family and guests were comfortable and happy. "Wow, where do I even start?! Shanna was absolutely amazing! From the moment my husband and I hired her she instantly took a load of stress off of my shoulders, always answering my emails quickly and reminding me of things we still needed to do. Hurricane Dorian decided to crash our wedding but that didn't stop Shanna from making backup plans and then even more backup plans.
We ended up having to postpone our wedding from our original date of Sept. 7 to the Sunday morning due to Dorian. As stressful as that was we didn't even have to worry about a thing as Shanna was on it, reaching out to all our vendors to confirm times for Sunday and reaching out to new vendors as some of our original ones couldn't make it Sunday.
Shanna pulled off an incredible wedding for us on the Sunday and I should add we did it with no power or running water. I highly recommend Shanna for all your wedding and event needs, without her I don't know if we would have been able to pull off our postponed wedding. "My wife and I were one of the lucky couples who got to be a part of the Wedding Weekend that Shanna and her team put on last August. Shanna guided us the entire way through the whole process and was always available to answer any questions we had. It was nice because although it was a set up, planned event, the way Shanna and her team do it, allowed us to customize all of the important aspects to make it suit our vision of what we wanted our wedding to look like.
In terms of the wedding day itself, when arrived at the venue, all the work was already done. Shanna and her team were there to guide guests to where they needed to be and helped us get ready for the ceremony. The whole set up was incredible and she transformed the vision into something that was nicer than we could have ever imagined. Shanna took the worry out of the big day which allowed us to enjoy our wedding with zero stress.
